The hotel provides guided walking tours. You can give your feet a treat and try the barefoot walk, for a different experience. Hotel Jardim Atlantico is well-known for the Barefoot Path which was created with the desire to create something new, unknown and innovative that could be integrated in nature.
The barefoot path is approx. 800 m long and it is made up of several natural elements from Madeira's nature such as pines, black sand, golden sand from the neighboring island of Porto Santo, beach pebbles among others, elements that provide a sensation of well-being and harmony, and a purported to be highly benefitial for reflexology and overall health.
The hotel restaurant offers only natural products without chemicals or other additives with fresh baked bread daily from the kitchen, and whenever possible fresh products are bought from local farmers. Vegetarian cuisine is the house specialty
